How to Apply Marble Dip Powder (Gel Method Recommended)

Marble dips take a little extra time and patience, but the payoff is stunning. Here’s how I personally apply them to get the exact look you see in the photos:

1. Prep: Pour your dip powder into a cupcake liner and flatten it out.

2. First Layer: Apply a layer of base gel and gently press your nail into the powder. Let it sit and absorb the gel for about a minute.

3. Clean & Press: Clean around the cuticle area, then use your fingers to gently press the powder into place and tap to help it settle. Yes, it’s sticky—but it washes off!

4. Cure: Cure under a lamp for 30 seconds.

5. Repeat: Add another layer of base gel, press down again, and dip once more. When it becomes too sticky to press easily, do a final dip and cure for 60 seconds.

6. Finish: Apply a top coat and cure for 60 seconds. Buff if needed, and finish with one more layer of top coat. Cure again for 60 seconds.

✨ Pro tip: Play around with the layers to create your perfect marble blend. It takes a few extra minutes, but it’s totally worth it!
